WELCOME TO OUR NEW PASTOR AND PASTORAL VICAR. As we say farewell to Fathers Liam and Aldo, we welcome Fathers Beck and Ramirez. I'm sure they will both receive a warm welcome across the county this week as they say masses.

Rev. Larry Beck is our new Pastor and Parish Administrator, serving all of the Amador Catholic Community.  Fr. Larry comes to us from St. John Parish in Quincy and Our Lady of the Snows Parish in Lake Almanor.

Rev. Roland Ramirez is our new Parochial Vicar, serving all three parishes throughout the Amador Catholic Community.  He comes to us from St. John Parish in Carmichael. Click here to read a little about Fr. Roland.

Fr. Liam macCarthy
New! FAREWELL TO FATHER LIAM AND FATHER ALDO.  We bid a fond farewell to Father Liam, who returns to retirement (and a trip to Ireland), and Father Aldo, who moves on to be Administrator at St. John Parish in Quincy. Father Aldo's new mailing address is St. John Parish, P. O. Box 510, Quincy, CA 95971.  About 300 parishioners from all over the County gathered on July 24th at the Amador Catholic Center to say goodbye to these two priests.  Click here for a slideshow of photos from the party.  The slideshow includes a short video of "vignettes" from the party.
